ARTIST STATEMENT

You are what you wear

            This project follows "You are what you eat". Every day of 2002 I wore a plain white t-shirt stamped with the date. Sundays dates are stamped red. The unwashed 365 t-shirts is the documentation of the year-long performance.

            For these project I was interested in exploring the issue of identity through fashion, questioning our relationship with our clothes, how a piece of fabric alters not only the perception, but the reality of our self.
